We’re excited to welcome you to Central Washington University —in person—to see for yourself what life is like on campus. To ensure the health and safety of CWU’s community and our visitors, we have put in place the following measures based on public health directives from the State of Washington, our campus visitor guidelines and the CDC:
We require all visitors to register in advance of arriving on campus. Walk-in guests may not be accommodated,if tour has reached capacity. We offer tours Tuesday – Friday at 10 am and 2 pm, Saturday's at 11 am and 1 pm only. Tour Check-In will be in the Student Union and Recreation Center (SURC) Rm. 139.
Please refrain from visiting campus if you do not feel well, have not felt well at all in the past 24 hours, or if you have been in contact with someone who has contracted COVID-19 in the last 14 days. Please note that currently very few faculty and staff are working on campus. Meeting with faculty or staff in specific academic or service departments while you are on campus may be unlikely. We suggest you contact departments directly to find out what they are offering at this time. You can find academic departments and programs contact information here.
If you have any questions about your upcoming visit, email visit@cwu.edu or call 509-963-1262. Any changes to your campus tour will be communicated via your confirmation email.
We recommend that you visit CWU when classes are in session, as you will get the best exposure to campus activities and perspective about student life. On weekends or during holiday breaks, academic departments and student service areas are closed. The Wildcat Shop and the Student Union and Recreation Center (SURC) may have limited hours.

As a prospective student touring colleges, you should look for a campus that is “a good fit” for YOU. What may appear to be the “best school” on the list might not actually be the best one for YOU. Ask yourself this: “Is this college the right fit for me academically, socially, and financially?” We recommend considering all three factors and more as you search for the campus you will one day call home. Should you choose to join our Wildcat family, we welcome you with open paws!
Currentlly, only two guests are welcome to join prospective students on the walking tour. We share a great deal of helpful information aimed at prospective students and their support network.
