Planning a visit for students in grade 8 or below?
Submit a visit request through the Early College Outreach Visit Request Form.

We can comfortably accommodate groups of up to 80 students, with at least one chaperone required for every 10 students.

Bringing a larger group to campus? Submit a visit request, and our staff will reach out to discuss your group’s needs and visit options.

To accommodate as many groups as possible while ensuring the best experience for everyone, group visits follow a standard itinerary with optional add-ons to help you customize your visit.

Optional Add-On Experiences are available based on staff availability, scheduling, and the length of your group's visit. We'll do our best to accommodate your interests, but add-on experiences are not guaranteed.

We’re excited to welcome your group to CWU! To help make your visit fun, welcoming, and memorable, please review the policies and chaperone expectations below before arriving on campus. Your partnership helps us create a positive experience for your students and ensures we can continue welcoming groups to CWU in the future.

• At least one chaperone per 10 students is required. Chaperones are responsible for students' behavior and safety throughout the visit and must stay with the group at all times. Tour guides are CWU students and are not responsible for managing behavior or discipline. They may end a tour if inappropriate behavior continues. Campus staff cannot serve as chaperones. • Please make every effort possible to arrive on time for your visit.  If your group arrives more than 20 minutes late, we may not be able to accommodate everything included on your agenda. Any time lost due to a late arrival will come out of your scheduled tour time. Our tour guides are current CWU students with limited availability, so staying on schedule helps us provide the full experience planned for your group.
• Please remind students to be polite and considerate to the tour guides and presenters. Students are encouraged to turn off cell phones and other electronic devices during the presentation(s) and campus tour.
• While your group is on campus, classes and meetings are taking place throughout campus. Please remind students to keep their voices down when inside buildings and to treat our campus, facilities, students, faculty, and staff with respect.
• Dress for the weather! Tours take place rain or shine and include walking outdoors. Please wear comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing and footwear. If campus closes because of snow, ice, or other severe weather, we will need to cancel the visit.
• If your plans change, please let us know! Email visit@cwu.edu at least one week before your scheduled visit with any updates to your group size, departure time, itinerary, or plans to cancel. Advance notice helps our team prepare and ensures we can provide the best possible experience for your group.
• Bring your questions and have fun! We're excited to show your group around CWU. Come ready to learn, ask questions, and enjoy your time on campus!
