Phi Theta Kappa 2026

Central Washington University recognizes the academic commitment and dedication of Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) students and commends them for choosing CWU to further their education.

PTK members admitted to Central Washington University for Fall 2026 are eligible to be considered for this one-time award. This scholarship of up to $1,000 will be dispersed over two years and renewed if a student maintains a minimum GPA of 3.25, and is enrolled in at least 6 credits per quarter.

Students can use this scholarship at the main campus in Ellensburg or one of our University Center locations, including our Online Campus, and can apply it towards the major of their choosing.

Application priority deadline is March 2, 2026.

Running Start students are currently not eligible for this scholarship opportunity.

To be considered, we invite the following students who meet these requirements to apply:

Current Phi Theta Kappa members
Starting at Central Washington University in Fall 2026
Minimum GPA of 3.25
Transferring from a Washington State Community College
Has earned a Direct Transfer Associates (DTA) Degree prior to enrolling at Central Washington University

Students who are completing their first bachelor’s degree

Successful submission of an application includes the following attachments:
